crashes after application has been minimized

If user minimizes the application, painting the field title throws an error (client size of picturebox is invalid). Will be fixed in next build.

using datafiles for reading/writing field state and automata config

It would be nice to be able to read standard formats, such as .LIF and others.

OpenGL sometimes craps out

Sometimes (can we find exact steps to reproduce) OpenGL returns an error when I try to "swap buffers" and after that drawing does not work, and user has to restart. Obviously this should be fixed...

problems with field display when GUI is resized

transformation algorithms need to automatically "know" if Life optimization will produce invalid results

Computation of next state is too slow, especially when field size is large
